Gado-gado

Ingredients:

1. Sauce

1 onion-minced
2 cloves garlic
½ piece of Gula Melaka or brown sugar
1 tsp tamarind paste
1 cup of roasted peanuts-crushed
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp chillie powder
Salt
Prawn paste (optional)

Method:

Heat cooking oil and fry all of the ingredients . Add coconut milk and simmer until the sauce become thick and aromatic.

2. Salad

Cucumber and red chilli - thinly slice
Egg and potato – boiled and cut into some portion
bean sprout and water spinach - blanch in boiling water
fried fish cracker
red chilli
water spinach fritters.
